Nose

Pèppoli is characterized by notes of red cherry with hints of chocolate and vanilla from the oak aging.

PALATE

On the palate the wine shows much Sangiovese character with soft and silky tannins and a good persistence on the finish and aftertaste.

STYLE

Well-structured and complex, the Pèppoli Chianti Classico is a wine with much fragrance and fruit. A traditionally-made wine that appeals to modern tastes, it is designed to be enjoyed while it is relatively young, when the fruit is at its most expressive.

On the palate, the wine is well-structured with supple tannins which are both sweet and rounded. Remarkable depth and a lengthy finish.

This round, full-bodied expression of the Chianti Classico style is often likened to Antinori’s famous Tignanello wine.
