The Antinori Legacy
26 Generations. 1 Family.
In 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Winemakers’ Guild in Florence, Italy. More than 600 years later, the Antinori family is still producing exceptional wines. Piero Antinori took the helm of the family business in 1966, and his influence has raised the quality and reputation of Chianti Classico wine. Now he is passing the Antinori Quest for Excellence on to his three daughters, Albiera, Alessia and Allegra.
The Antinori‘s collection displays the many faces of Chianti Classico wines: from traditional to modern, and from deep and complex to fresh and lively. These four wines embody the passion and brilliance that the Antinoris bring to the art of winemaking.
Cantina del Chianti Classico
In October of 2012, Antinori opened a state-of-the-art winery in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, a tribute to the symbiotic nature of traditional and contemporary wine production. The Cantina del Chianti Classico di Marchesi Antinori honors the history and bright future of the region.
